Safeguarding

Safeguarding is at the centre of everything we do at Taunton School Roblox. We are committed to ensuring that every student is protected, supported, and able to participate in a safe and positive environment. Our safeguarding approach aligns with recognised standards of Child Protection and prioritises the welfare of all young people who engage with our virtual school.

All safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported directly to our Safeguarding Team through MyConcern, our dedicated reporting and case-management system. This ensures that every report is logged securely, reviewed promptly, and handled with the highest level of confidentiality.

Upon receiving a report, the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) coordinates and oversees the full investigation process. The DSL ensures that appropriate actions are taken, risks are assessed, and any necessary support or intervention is put in place. Where required, the DSL may liaise with senior staff or external safeguarding bodies to ensure a thorough and responsible response.

We take all matters relating to Child Protection and student welfare extremely seriously. Our safeguarding procedures are designed to identify concerns early, act decisively, and ensure that every student feels safe, respected, and listened to.
