Homework

At Taunton School Roblox, we are committed to supporting every student in reaching their full potential. We believe that independent study and learning beyond scheduled sessions can play an important role in strengthening progress and developing key academic skills.

Homework and independent learning opportunities are designed to:

Reinforce, extend, and enrich the learning that takes place during lessons

Encourage students to develop independence and take ownership of their progress

Build responsibility for the quality and accuracy of their work

Promote good habits such as organisation and meeting deadlines

Provide additional opportunities to practise and improve skills in a focused way

Support long-term learning and personal development

Homework will be shared by the Leadership of the Teaching & Learning Team through our official Discord server. All homework set is optional, and students are not required to complete it. However, we strongly encourage participation as it can enhance understanding and confidence in subjects.

Students who choose to complete their homework will be rewarded with positive points on SIMS, recognising their effort, commitment, and dedication to learning.
