Homework

At Taunton School Roblox, we are committed to helping all students achieve their full potential. We believe that independent study and time spent learning outside of scheduled sessions can significantly enhance student progress.

Homework and independent study are designed to:

• Reinforce, extend, and enrich learning from lessons.

• Encourage students to learn independently and take ownership of their progress.

• Develop responsibility for the quality and accuracy of their own work.

• Promote the timely completion of tasks in accordance with set deadlines.

• Provide opportunities to practise skills in a controlled and focused environment.

• Allow students to involve family members in their learning, fostering support and collaboration.

• Cultivate habits and skills that contribute to lifelong learning.

Homework is set by the Head of Faculty for each subject and is optional. Completing homework provides students with the chance to earn extra merit points and further develop their skills, but it is not compulsory. We encourage students to engage with homework as a way to enhance their learning experience and take personal responsibility for their academic growth.
